October 2003 Lauren Bethell Visit

On October 6, 2003, On Sunday evening of October 5, ABC/International Missionary Reverand
Lauran Bethell shared a potluck supper with members of First Baptist of
Boulder at the home of Kerry Hassler in Louisville. Lauran is a well-known leader in helping women to find alternatives to prostitution through initially the New Life Center program she established in Chiang Mai in 1986. In1999, Lauran left Chiang Mai to become a global activist and consultantin combatting the world-wide prostitution trade from her ABC/IM homebase in Prague. Lauran's description of her past and current work to help
women and children shared during the evening was an inspiration to all who participaed in this event. She is truly a daughter of God!
