June 19-30 2008 ABC-Rocky Mountain Region Bulgaria Mission Trip

From June 19-30, 2008, FBC-Boulder congregations members Dwight/Aladine Neuenschwander and trip-leader Kerry Hassler participated in the ABC-Rocky Mountain Region mission trip to learn about Baptist ministries in Sofia and Guliantsi, conduct a Vacation Bible School at the Guliantsi Baptist Church, do schoolyard improvement projects in Guliantsi and Pleven, and see a few interesting sights in Bulgaria. The mission team was hosted by Tom and Terry Myers, who coordinated the team's itinerary and work projects. The June 23-26 VBS sessions were led by Katya Raichinova, a member of the Sofia Baptist Church who is fluent in both Bulgarian and English. The mission trip was a wonderful experience for the entire team.
