Flatirons Habitat for Humanity in Boulder
FBC/Boulder is co-sponsored the building of a new home for a Boulder-area low-income family by donating $8333 in church Missions & Outreach funds, as well as volunteering to do hands-on construction at the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity - Northfield Village construction site (47th and Jay Road in Boulder). The church volunteer workdays to help build the home ended in late December, 2010, with Unit B and other Northfield Village homes completed in mid-January, 2011. Stay tuned for details about the current Coburn Square Flatirons Habitat for Humanity church project in Boulder.
BridgeHouse (Carriage House Community Table)
FBC/Boulder continues to help the homeless in our our community by providing donations to BrdgeHouse (name changed from Carriage House Community Table in December, 2011) located in Boulder next to First Congregational Church on the southwest corner of Broadway and Pine. Click here to volunteer to serve lunches to the homeless from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.on any weekday from Monday through Friday.
