Connect with mission-minded women through American Baptist Women’s Ministry (ABWM). These dedicated women sponsor annual luncheons, summer coffees, an Easter Egg sale and Christmas goodie bag sale to raise extra monies for missions. They also participate in White Cross supplies, over-and-above Love Gift offering, New Garments Always (clothing and household goods for local social services agencies), Least Coin for Church Women United, and they support various other mission projects. First Baptist women are active in the annual state conference, Winter Retreat and regional meetings as well. http://www.abwministries.org

A small board, independent of FBC's Mission Team, oversees this ministry, budget and its activities. We strive to find balance and joy in our service and care for others and ourselves.

Baptist women throughout the country often form "circles"—small groups that focus on specific projects and missionaries. There are two circles at First Baptist. The Martha-Ruth circle meets in the Cottonwood room at Golden West Senior Living. The Thecla circle rotates its meetings in member's homes. Both circles focus on education, missions, inspiration and fun!

We have rolled bandages, created cards for wounded soldiers, taken children for back-to-school shopping, prepared meals and led worship on ABW Ministries' Sunday.
